Medicolegal work

Mr Kitsis routinely undertakes Medicolegal work. This mainly relates to Personal Injury claims as instructed by Claimants, Defendants or jointly. Direct instructions from solicitors are desirable although on selected occasions he may provide services to Medical Reporting Organisations.

Mr Kitsis will consider instructions for Medical Negligence and Industrial / Occupational disease on an individual basis only.

Waiting times for provision of a Medicolegal report depend on availability of records. Once all records have been received an appointment will be sent with an average waiting time of 4 weeks. Urgent instructions  (when Court dates have to be met) are usually accepted provided there is adequate time to assess the claimant. These will only be considered on an individual basis. 

Instructions should be sent in writing unless a different arrangement is already in place. Routinely the reports are completed and sent to the instructing party 10-14 days following consultation.
